Dear friends,

You are welcome to AIAB again to join this year's Full Moon Festival held at the Lotus Pond Temple on Sunday, 7th of September, 2014.

It will be a very joyful day for the AIAB monastics and friends as we will have the Closing ceremony to complete our annual three month rain retreat in the morning and celebrate Mid-Autumn Moon Festival in the evening with you.

Coming here, you and your family can celebrate the Full Moon Festival in a peaceful and joyful environment. With lanterns in our hands, we will enjoy our walking meditation under the full moon light to Ngong Ping village, so quiet at night. If you have a lantern of your own that you like to bring here to contribute to the beauty of colors and shapes of the festival, please do not hesitate.

If you, your children, as a family can play some music or sing some happy Mid- autumn’s songs that you wish to offer to the joyful, homely atmosphere of the Festival, we are more than happy to register your act as a performance for the celebration. We give piority to the children's performances in the spirit of encouraging them and offering our care to their enthusiasm to being so naturally radiant and joyful. Please register if you need transportation from Ngong Ping to Tung Chung. We arrange a special coach bus, so you can stay until the end of the program. You may choose to leave at 21h30, 21h45 or the last one at 22h00. Let us know no later than Friday which bus time, you chose to take down to Tung Chung. The bus fare is HK$30 per person (no child’s fare). You can pay for the bus fare upon arrival at the temple.
